2018 Powerflow Yogathon. Do good. Feel good.

Lets do yoga for something bigger than ourselves. Yoga teachers, students and members of our community will once again come together for the second annual Powerflow Yogathon. Join us on Saturday, May 19 at Montclair State University from 8 am to 9 pm to raise money for the Life is Good Kids Foundation. This non-profit charity organization is committed to helping more than 1 million children every year overcome the traumas of poverty, violence and illness.

When: Saturday, May 19 from 8 am to 9 pm
Where: Montclair State University, Conference Center Ballroom
Located on the 7th floor of University Hall

How to join Yogathon

Create your team of four and take turns practicing yoga and mindfulness for 13 hours straight. On the day of the Powerflow Yogathon, at least one person per team must be in each of the 13 classes. Find joy as you take a variety of classes with our roster of esteemed teachers who share your passion for helping kids heal. Come together and spread the power of optimism through yoga, charity and community.

1. Create and name your team of four. Designate a team captain who will register and communicate with PFY. (If you need help finding a team, just email us and we will match you with someone.)

2. Have your team captain go to Registration Page to pay the registration fee ($35 per person) for your whole team.

3. Go to Crowdrise and register your team. Then, email yogathon@powerflownj.com your team name and members.

4. Share your passion, message and Crowdrise link, and start raising money. The fundraising goal for each team is a minimum of $500.

10 to 11 am: Judy Becker, Meditation: “On Your Way to Being Stress Free”

11 am to noon: Joe Gandarillas, Alignment Flow

noon to 1 pm: Serena Soffer, Laughing Lotus Soul Sweat

1 to 2 pm: Alison McCue, Journey into Power

2 to 3 pm: Amy Jean and Freddy Pastore, Acro Yoga

3 to 4 pm: Cheryl Barclay, Shake Your Asana (Yoga and 80s music)

4 to 5 pm: Shannon Albarelli, Self-Inquiry Meditation with Affirmations

5 to 6 pm: Christopheray Mankowski, Iyengar-Inspired Practice

6 to 7 pm: Deb Williams, Guided Ashtanga

7 to 8 pm: Kate Corrallo, Yin Yoga

8 to 9 pm: Ben Wisch and Vayu, Kirtan
