Our accomplished teachers, Stacey Bell and Carrie Parker, will deliver their unabridged curriculum in two formats that are more convenient to your summer lifestyle. Whether you’re looking to become a 200 hour certified yoga instructor, or you simply want to deepen your own practice, this teacher training delivers. Stacey and Carrie have over 25 years of experience each leading students on a journey of self-study through the eight limbs of yoga. Develop the confidence and knowledge to design skillful and effective power vinyasa sequences. Learn fundamental anatomy and alignment principles, effective teaching methodology, and yoga philosophy as you develop your new identity: yoga teacher. This isn’t your average yoga teacher training. This is the experience for which you’ve been searching.

Early Bird: $3600 (deadline for early bird rate is one month prior to training start date)
Full Tuition: $3900 (payment plans available)
200 Hour Teacher Training Scholarship
Powerflow Yoga offers one scholarship per 200 hour teacher training. Scholarships cover 50 percent of tuition only, so you are responsible for the remaining 50 percent plus any required supplemental materials. Completed applications for both Summer 200 Hour Teacher Training scholarships are due April 1. One winner for Asbury Park yoga teacher training and one winner for Bloomfield yoga teacher training will be announced by April 15.
About Stacey Bell:
Stacey teaches yoga from the perspective that when the human body is in functional balance, our asana is light and free. This principle is rooted in both her training as an Alexander Technique Instructor and her deep study of Iyengar yoga. Stacey’s proclivity to subtle body practices like pranayama and meditation has created a juicy, energetic side to her teaching. As a Craniosacral therapist, Stacey developed a sensitivity to perceive energy flow in the body and understands on a profound level what it means to have a nervous system in deep rest. Stacey was lead teacher for Garden State Yoga’s teacher training program for several years and is now incredibly excited to co-lead the 200 hour yoga teacher training for Powerflow Yoga.
About Carrie Parker Gastelu:
Carrie, E-500 RYT, RPYT, RCYT, LCCE has been teaching yoga since 1993 and leading 200-hour teacher trainings for the past fifteen years for both Yoga Works and Bright Spirit Teacher Trainings. She is a regular speaker and contributor to conferences, websites and print publications. Carrie specializes in female anatomy and physiology, and is also founder of BabyMoon Prenatal Yoga, an 85-hour teacher training. Carrie is known for her honest, non-dogmatic yet passionate approach.
About Christine Joseph:
Christine Joseph is Powerflow Yoga’s Director of Education and Special Projects, and one of the head creative forces behind Powerflow School of Yoga. A 500hr RYT, she was certified under the direction of Stacey Bell and has been teaching hot power yoga since 2012. Christine‘s classes are challenging and well-thought-out and she takes pride in coaching new instructors to find their unique teaching voice and power.
About Michael Simpson:
Michael’s teaching philosophy is rooted in science. He majored in anatomy and physiology in college. Michael thus developed a keen understanding of the human body structure, and how exactly it is designed to move gracefully. He believes that it is the functional alignment of the body that facilitates a truly meditative experience. Michael has been actively involved in the PFY community since he completed PFY’s teacher training. He is incredibly grateful to assist two of his favorite teachers, Stacey and Carrie.
