300 Hour Teacher Training: Refine Your Power September 2017 – August 2018

This is the training for people who are already yoga teachers and have studied the foundations of the practice. If that’s you, you can refine your craft and sharpen your skills. In our 300 Hour Teacher Training, you will truly step into who you are as a teacher. This training is designed for you to improve the experience of your classes and advance your career. You will learn a variety of techniques to enrich your teaching and effectiveness. Upon completion, you will be able to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT 500.

WHEN: September 15, 2017 – August 22, 2018 (See training dates below.)

LOCATION: Powerflow Yoga Bloomfield • 71 Washington Street (May & June will be at Powerflow Yoga Glen Rock • 530 South Broad Street)

WHAT TO EXPECT: What makes you unique as a teacher? You will deeply study yoga and yourself. You will learn with Powerflow’s most experienced teachers in a supportive and educational setting. You will receive enlightening information and helpful feedback. This is the most well-rounded, precisely-planned and thorough 300 hour teacher training in New Jersey. We believe you will graduate from our program and become a better teacher and a more confident person.

300 Hour Teacher Training

Emma received her RYT from New York Yoga in 2004. Her training was in vinyasa with a strong influence in Ashtanga which is Emma’s first yoga experience and a great influence on her teaching. She holds a pre-natal training from OM Yoga and also completed a 30 hour intensive with David Regelin in 2013. In the Winter of 2016, she led a 30 hour Align and Self Adjust Training for Powerflow. Emma has been with Powerflow since it opened in 2008. In her role as Director of Teachers, she currently mentors teachers coming out of their 200 hour trainings.


300 Hour Teacher Training

MJ, E-RYT 500, YACEP, has been teaching yoga since 2000. She has been practicing yoga since the age of 13. Over the years, MJ has studied with many master teachers such as David Swenson, Rodney Yee, Ana Forest, Roger Cole, Baron Baptiste, David Regelin, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and others. These yogis have not only enriched her life, but they have fueled her passion for precise alignment and intuitive body intelligence. MJ is hoping to pass this passion onto and inspire a new generation of yoga teachers. MJ is currently finishing a 108 hour advanced anatomy course at the ASFYT Series for certified yoga teachers.


300 Hour Teacher Training

Jody, E-500 RYT, has been teaching yoga since 1996. She has led and designed 200 and 300 hour curriculums since 2010 for Become One and Garden State Yoga. Jody’s yoga path included studying with best of the best teachers in a variety of specialties such as alignment-based hatha, Inner Light Method, Neurosculpting®, SourcePoint Therapy, Reiki and Yin. She is strongly influenced by more than 10 years of study in Anusara Yoga with John Friend. She has studied with Amy Ippoliti, Paul Grilley and Sarah Powers.
