Free Yin to Learn About the PFY Peru Retreat on Sunday

perublogPeru and yoga just go together. That’s why PFY teamed up with teacher Anayra Calderon to create the PFY Peru Adventure Retreat coming this June. Peru has become such a popular place to go because it’s easy to get to, the time zone is the same as New Jersey’s, their culture will blow you away and the sites will transform your heart. We hope you’ll consider going on this trip with us. You’ll do yoga, have athletic adventures and see Machu Picchu. You have to think about it now because the deadline for registration is in December. We had to make the deadline early because tickets to Machu Picchu sell out months in advance.

We understand that this is a big commitment and a huge trip. So please join Anayra this Sunday for a free yin class at 5:30 pm at PFY Hoboken. Stay afterward, and she’ll explain everything you can expect and answer your questions. She’s also bringing wine and cheese. Be sure to RSVP if you plan to go.

If you’re on the fence, here is a sample of the retreat itinerary to get you excited:

Day 1:
Arrive in Cusco and take a scenic 2-hour drive to the Sacred Valley.

Day 2:
After yoga, your guide will take you through the amazing sites of Cusco.

Day 3:
Bike or take a van to the picturesque Salt Mines of Maras and the circular ruins of Moray. Do yoga and take a hike later.

Day 4:
Visit Abra Malaga, one of the most scenic drives in South America and perhaps the world. See huge glaciers, waterfalls, great views, herds of llamas and lots of ancient local culture.

Day 5:
Travel to Machu Picchu and spend the day. You will do yoga in that sacred space.

Day 6:
Return from Machu Picchu and relax and do lots of yoga.

Day 7:
Take the day to relax or to explore Cusco.

Day 8:
Return to the states or extend your stay and visit Lima.

Trust us, going to Peru is the trip of a lifetime. Go on this trip, and we’ll do all the planning for you. That gives you more time to focus on all things yoga.
