Powerflow Yoga - Yoga Classes

85-Hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

Powerflow Yoga is proud to offer an 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher training that celebrates and honors female anatomy and sexuality. Pregnancy is a special life stage that literally changes the physiology of a woman’s body. In this training, you will learn how to augment the traditionally masculine yoga practice to accommodate pre- and post-natal women’s expanding needs. Your trainer, Carrie Parker-Gastelu, has spent more than twenty years studying various cultural, biological and anthropological childbirth and mothering philosophies. She will empower you with the knowledge you need to teach yoga classes that prepare the mother physically, mentally and spiritually for the ecstatic experience of birthing a child.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Ancient female-centered yoga practices • Prenatal vinyasa yoga • Traditional women’s healing arts • Eastern mindfulness practices • Personal transformation • Rituals • Conscious birth movement • Attachment Theory • Poetry, storytelling and mythology

Once you complete our 85 hour prenatal yoga teacher training, you will be able to register with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT).
