Teach kids yoga in studios, schools and daycares.
Powerflow Yoga is proud to offer the most comprehensive 95-hour kids yoga teacher training. Learn to teach yoga classes, meditation and mindfulness for kids from birth all the way through their teenage years. We’ll cover developmentally appropriate ways to modify yoga for kids of all ages and special needs.
Use this time to work on being more grounded for yourself and your students. You’ll get lots of hands-on experience, so you’ll feel confident teaching kids yoga. Whether you’re already a yoga teacher or you currently work with children, you can change lives through yoga. PFY is where the journey begins.

Kimie studied Early Childhood Development & Family Studies/Special Education at West Virginia University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis at Capella University. Her projected graduation date is December 2020. Kimie received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification in 2014 with the highly regarded Stacey Bell at Garden State Yoga and has been teaching non-stop ever since. She also completed her 95-hour kids yoga training with Grounded Kids Yoga. In 2016, she began managing Powerflow Yoga Clifton and helped build an incredibly close-knit community of yogis. During that time, she started a yoga program specifically for children with special needs. That eventually evolved into Powerflow Yoga Kids, a fully dedicated kids yoga business. Kimie continues to teach weekly adult yoga classes and teaches weekly kids classes, intensive trainings, and professional developments all over northern NJ. Kimie’s long term goal is to integrate the modalities of yoga and mindfulness-based interventions into her work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and continue to share yoga with as many adults and kids as possible!
