The solstice marks the first day of summer, and as seasons shift, so too should our yoga practices. 

Acclimate your body and mind to the hot weather by incorporating yin yoga poses and reiki that help you to feel cool and soothed. Summer is the season in which yang, which represents activity, heat and light, reaches its peak. In excess, this energy may cause you to feel inflamed, tense and overexcited. You’ll focus your attention on the Heart and Small Intestine meridians, helping you to clear out any stagnant, dull energy. Close out your practice with a long, relaxing yoga nidra meditation.
