Spinal health is integral for a sustainable asana practice and overall mobility. Join Jess Ernst for a deep dive into the fundamentals of spinal movement in your yoga practice.
We’ll demystify the spine’s 7 primary movements – flexion, extension, lateral flexion, right and left rotation, axial elongation, and bracing- and explore yoga poses that incorporate each motion. Through the use of mindful alignment and props, you’ll learn ways to build strength, increase mobility, and adapt your practice for optimal spinal health.
